FAQ's

Where will the lessons take place?

At your home or office, for maximum convenience, arranged at a time to suit you.

How long do the lessons last, and how much are they?

Usually an hour and a half.  This gives time to do exercises, work on some tunes/pieces and listen to your tutor play or check out some top musicians on Youtube together.  One hour lessons are also available. Our hourly rate is £38 or £40 in the London area. This fee includes the tuition itself and our continued services in supporting you through your course of lessons.

What's the minimum booking?

Usually, 12 hours.  That gives you a solid course of lessons and you can see real progress.

Do I need my own instrument?

You will need your own instrument before the first class. Renting can be an option, however, and we can advise you on how to do this.  You'll find a list of recommended music stores on this site.

Can you help with my exam?

If you do decide to go down the exam route, we can advise you on which specialist music board to choose for any given instrument/style. We can also provide a tutor who is experienced in GCSE preparation and A Level exams. Many of our tutors have gone through these exams themselves and have helped many students gain their music GCSE or A Level. Whether its A level, GCSE, or a music grade, many of our tutors have a 100% pass rate for students taking exams.
